Born and raised in North Philadelphia to Puertorican parents, I grew up in what would be considered a food desert. Fast food joints as far as the eye could see. It was only until I got married at 18 and moved to the Northwoods country of Wisconsin did I start to learn how to cook. However it was working with the local farmers did I learn to love the ingredients I used to never think twice about at the grocer. After creating dinners for guests I started to long to share more of why the ingredients on the plate were so special. I wanted to share the stories of who the ingredients were from in hopes that they could feel what I felt, gratitude, admiration and love for what was on the plate.

I realized that many of the best farmers with the most incredible products to share were often too busy to add an extra task on their plate such as “marketing”. However even the best bifold farmers market stand and word of mouth sales were still leaving them scratching to get ahead. I truly believe that when we know better we do better, so it only made sense to try to help these rockstars get the stage they deserved!

Ofcourse I still love creating intimate specialty dining experiences and need to keep my knives and skills sharp. So I decided the best way to do this was to focus on telling the stories of organic farmers and food product creators through cinematic adventures ( video ) and dinners curated towards their unique product. They get to share their videos on their platforms, guests get to learn about and enjoy their product and we all get to eat a great meal! win! win!
